Courtney Stevens is a professional aerialist located in Salt Lake City, Ut. She was born and raised in Oregon, where she began gymnastics at age 3. She continued at the National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics for 8 years before moving on to her interests in ballroom dance. She trained American style smooth and rhythm for 5 years,  then moved to Utah to pursue a degree in Ballroom Dance at Utah Valley University. Upon graduating in 2014, she turned her attention to aerial arts and finally found her true passion.

She has continued on her aerial journey with her stylistic approach focusing on flexibility, fluidity, and power moves. Her specialty is Aerial Silks, but also has experience in Lyra, Duo Silks, Duo Trapeze, Contortion, Specialty Apparatuses, and more. She has had the opportunity to train internationally, including the 2015 Irish Aerial Arts Festival. She has trained with Serenity Forchion (NECCA), Amy Ell, Sarah Romanowsky, Valerie Morris (Frequent Flyers), and more.

As an instructor, she teaches both youth and adults. She caters to each individual student, ensuring a fun, positive, and safe environment to everyone who comes to her class. She is a stickler for technique and dives deep into theory and body awareness, all the while pushing for fluidity, act development, and helping to find who you are as an artist. She also has a passion for choreography for both individual and group pieces.

Courtney is currently the Silks Director at Aerobatics Circus Center in Draper, Ut. She also subs at various studios throughout Utah. She is a resident performer for Voodoo Productions, a cirque inspired company in Salt Lake City. She is an aerialist for Zen Arts, Insomniac, Team EZ, and Fire and Ice Entertainment. As of October 2018, she has also started her own circus inspired fitness clothing line, Courtney Stevens Apparel.

She hopes to start booking workshop tours and performances world wide. Please contact for resumes, demos, workshop catalogs, and the like.
